COVID-19 Update: April 2

COVID-19 Update: April 2

Dear Customers & Partners,

We continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 crisis and how it is impacting our customers and carriers, as well as our employee’s health and well-being. Communication with our people and partners remains a top priority, so we will continue to share the pertinent information we are collecting from our clients, carriers, and industry resources each week.

We have gathered six more customer responses for a total of 80 reporting if they are open for business, their anticipated volume compared to forecasted, and their confidence level through this crisis. We are fortunate to share that 87% of customers report they are open for business and maintaining operations as their products are essential. This result is up from the previous week because two of our clients were deemed essential and received their exemption. We were also able to add six new clients who were needing our assistance through this crisis.

**74 customers reporting last week, 80 reporting this week**

We are seeing a slight increase in volume expectation and confidence this week compared to last week despite COVID-19’s increased spread and additional measures taken by Federal, State, and Local governments to mitigate escalation.

**Above graphs represent a 2% increase in volume expectation from last week and a 2 point increase in confidence level**

As previously mentioned these are not weight averages thus our actual volumes don’t tell the same story as our volume expectations. This is largely the result of some clients seeing volume increase as you will see in the graph below. February was down from February 2019 and March 2020 didn’t reach March 2019 numbers, but it’s encouraging to see a positive trend in a month filled with disruption and the transition to supporting our clients from home. It is also exciting to see our sales team follow through with onboarding the six new clients that we’ve been working on for a few months to go live.

**Above graphs represent a 2% increase in volume expectation from last week and a 2 point increase in confidence level**

Check back in with us in a couple days for a market report detailing some of the capacity demand and market volatility in many markets that our clients service. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us through your Sales or Shipper Reps, or at sales@conceptintl.com for more details.
